Job Description

  • Handles issues, requests, and changes to SAP and non-SAP systems in compliance to agreed SLA. He/She is expected to be handle Severity 1/2 issues in terms of technical and communication to Functional & Applications Teams.
  • Acts as Level 2 Support for HANA Administration since there’s already an OCC alerting and external DBA team who performs L1 support.
  • Handles Monthly and/or Quarterly System Refresh of QA and Staging systems (Adhoc requests sometimes come in for Dev and Sandbox system refresh)/
  • Performance tuning of SAP systems that may be based on OSS Notes, EWA, and AIG&SAP best practices.
  • System Landscape Configurations and Operations
  • Risk and Impact Analysis, Planning, and Execution of SAP Kernel Upgrades, SAP OSS Notes, SAP Add-Ons and Support Packages, and the like.
  • Capacity Management to ensure that systems can accommodate workload especially on critical periods (year-end, quarter-end).
  • Coordinates with Functional and Application Owners particularly on explaining the nature of maintenance activities and during occurence of Sev 1/2 issues.
  • The resource must be willing to learn skills such as CHEF, Terraform, AWS, Python, etc.
  • Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions and has the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Required Minimum Qualifications

  • SAP BASIS, SAP HANA (around 5-6 years)
  • Experienced with CHEF, Terraform, AWS, Python
  • Level 2 Support for HANA Administration
  • Experienced in handling issues, requests, and changes to SAP and non-SAP systems in compliance to agreed SLA
  • Experienced in Performance Tuning of SAP systems, System Landscape Configurations and Operations
  • Experienced in Capacity Management
  • Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions and has the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
